Welcome to Big Cricket League! These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the BCL website and related services, as well as your registration for and participation in any trials, matches, tournaments or events conducted by BCL.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website, registering for trials, and/ or participating in any of the matches, tournament or BCL event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and any additional rules or guidelines communicated by BCL from time to time.

BCL reserves the right to modify, alter or update these Terms at any time and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations and updates. Your continued use of the website or participation in any BCL activity following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms in its entirety or any part thereof, you must immediately discontinue use of the website and refrain from registering for or participating in any BCL trials, matches, tournaments or events.


2. Eligibility

To be eligible for participation in Big Cricket League, Amateur Cricketers (participants) must satisfy with all of the following conditions:

• MUST NOT be below the age of 18 years at the time of registrations as per legal identification documents.

• MUST NOT be currently registered with any state or district association of BCCI.

• MUST NOT currently have any existing contract with any state or district association of the BCCI.

• MUST NOT be participating or playing in any representative cricket for any State or District Association of BCCI.

BCL reserves the right to verify eligibility through independent checks, including contacting BCCI or State Associations. Any false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in disqualification, suspension, or permanent restriction from participation, and forfeiture of applicable fees or benefits, at BCL’s discretion depending on the severity of the breach.


3. Registration

Participants must complete the registration process by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

Prior to participating in any BCL trial, match, tournament, or related activity following selection, each participant shall be required to execute a non-disclosure agreement in such form as may be prescribed by BCL (“NDA”).

Failure or refusal to execute the NDA shall render the participant ineligible to participate, and BCL reserves the right to deny or revoke registration on this basis without any liability or obligation to refund.

Nothing in this Clause or these Terms shall be construed as creating any employment, agency, partnership, or similar relationship.


4. Medical & Health Declaration

By registering for or participating in any BCL trial, match or tournament, you hereby confirm that:

• You are physically and medically fit to play competitive cricket.

• You have no known medical condition that could be aggravated by participation.

• You are responsible for undergoing a pre-participation medical examination if needed.

• You must disclose any pre-existing injuries or conditions in writing to BCL before participation.

• You acknowledge and agree that participation in cricket involves inherent risks of physical injury, including serious injury and you voluntarily assume all such risks.


In case of serious health deterioration or injury, the following shall apply:

• Only a valid medical certificate issued by a registered practicing allopathic doctor, bearing letterhead and stamp, shall be accepted.

• BCL reserves the right to independently verify such documentation.


5. Criminal Offence Disclosure

By registering for or participating in any BCL event, trial or tournament, you represent and warrant that:

• You have not been convicted of any criminal offence involving violence, sexual misconduct, fraud, corruption, or any offence that would reasonably bring the reputation of BCL, its sponsors, partners, or participants into disrepute.

• You are not currently under criminal investigation or facing pending criminal charges for any such offence in India or any other jurisdiction.

• You are not subject to any court order restraining you from participating in sporting events, working with minors, or entering public venues.

• If any criminal conviction, charge, or investigation arises after registration, you must notify BCL in writing within 7 days at grievance@bigcricketleague.com.

If BCL discovers that you have made a false declaration or failed to disclose any of the above, BCL may, at its sole discretion:

• Immediately disqualify you from the tournament without refund

• Impose a lifetime ban from all future BCL events

• Forfeit any prize money, awards, or recognition

• Remove your name, image, and records from all BCL platforms

• Report the matter to law enforcement authorities if the undisclosed offence is serious or ongoing

BCL reserves the right to conduct background verification checks on participants, especially those selected for representative matches, media coverage, or prize positions. You consent to such checks by agreeing to these Terms.


6. Image, Video & Broadcasting Rights

By registering for or participating in any BCL trials, matches, tournaments, practice sessions, interviews, award ceremonies or any other event, you grant BCL and its affiliates, successors, assigns and licensees an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, non-exclusive license to:

• Record, film, photograph, broadcast, stream, reproduce, edit, publish and distribute your name, likeness, voice, image, performance, and biographical information.

• Use and distribute such media in any format including but not limited to social media, television, OTT platforms, print, and digital advertising for promotional, commercial, or broadcast purposes

To the extent permissible under applicable law, you hereby assign to BCL any rights that may arise in such recordings or content created during your participation and waive any claims relating to infringement of personality rights, publicity rights, or similar rights in connection with such use. No separate consent will be sought for each use.

You acknowledge and agree that no compensation, royalty, or consideration shall be payable to you for any use of such content, whether current or future.

You waive any right to inspect or approve the final content or its use, and agree that BCL shall have the right to edit, modify, or adapt such content, provided that such use does not materially misrepresent you.

These rights shall survive your participation in BCL events and any termination of your relationship with BCL.


7. Sponsorship and Branding Restrictions

Participants shall not, during any BCL event, trial, match, or related activity, display, promote, advertise, or endorse any third-party brands, logos, products, or commercial messages, including on apparel, equipment, or otherwise, without the prior written approval of BCL.

Any breach of this clause may result in immediate removal from the event, confiscation of non-compliant materials, and/or disqualification without refund.


8. Third-Party Rights

The rights, protections, and benefits provided under these Terms in favour of BCL shall also extend to and be enforceable by its affiliates, sponsors, partners, broadcasters, venue owners, organisers, contractors, and service providers (collectively, “BCL Associated Parties”) to the extent permitted under applicable law.

Each of the BCL Associated Parties shall be entitled to rely upon and directly enforce the relevant provisions of these Terms, including but not limited to clauses relating to image and broadcasting rights, limitation of liability, indemnity, code of conduct, and participant obligations, as if they were expressly named as parties to these Terms.


9. No objection to Trial Process

By registering for or participating in any BCL trial, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• The trial process, including all methods of evaluation, assessment criteria, selection procedures, and scheduling, is the sole property and discretion of BCL

• You have no right to object, challenge, or dispute any aspect of the trial process, whether before, during, or after the trials

• All decisions made by BCL officials, selectors, coaches, or evaluators during the trial process shall be final, binding, and non-appealable


10. Right to Modify Selection Process

BCL reserves the right to change, modify, amend, replace, or alter the selection process, trial format, evaluation criteria, selection criteria, or any aspect thereof at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice to participants.

In doing so, BCL is under no obligation to provide reasons or justifications for any change and to notify participants individually of any change to the selection process


11. Refund & Cancellation Policy

The one-time trial registration fee paid by the participant for BCL trials is non-refundable except in the limited circumstances expressly set out below:.

(i) Cancellation of Trials by BCL: In the event that any trial, matches or tournament is cancelled by BCL and is not rescheduled, participants shall be entitled to the full refund of the registration fee. Such refund shall be processed within thirty (30) days from the date of cancellation, through the original mode of payment or such other mode as may be determined by BCL.


(ii) Severe Health Deterioration or Severe Injury: In case of a Severe Health Deterioration or Severe Injury, the participant must inform BCL of their inability to participate at the earliest possible time; and submit a written refund request along with a valid medical certificate issued by a practicing Allopathic Doctor, on official letterhead with signature and stamp to contact@bigcricketleague.com. Failure to provide timely notice or a valid medical certificate may result in rejection of the refund request. All such requests shall be subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of BCL, and any approved refund shall be processed within thirty (30) days from the date of approval.

Except as expressly provided above, the registration fee shall remain strictly non-refundable. For the avoidance of doubt, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, no refund shall be payable in circumstances including:

• where any information provided at the time of registration is incorrect, false, or misleading;

• where the participant withdraws, whether voluntarily or otherwise, for any reason not expressly covered above; or

• where the participant fails to attend the trials, irrespective of whether prior notice has been given.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, in the event that any trial, match, or tournament is cancelled, postponed, or disrupted due to events beyond BCL’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, or regulatory restrictions (“Force Majeure Event”), BCL shall have no obligation to provide any refund, compensation, or reimbursement. However, BCL may, at its discretion, carry forward, credit, or otherwise adjust the registration fee against participation in future BCL trials.



12. Code of Conduct

Participants shall conduct themselves in a respectful, professional and sportsmanlike manner at all times during any BCL event including trials, matches, practice sessions or tournament. Participants must not engage in any conduct that is abusive, discriminatory, violent, threatening or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of fair play and integrity of the tournament. Anyone accompanying a candidate (including family members, guests or support staff) is also accountable for maintaining decorum and adhering to this Code of Conduct.

BCL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse entry to, or require the removal of, any participant or accompanying person (including family members, guests, or support staff) from any venue, whether for breach of this Code of Conduct or otherwise, including for reasons of safety, security, health, regulatory compliance, or operational requirements.


13. Zero Tolerance Misconduct Policy

Without prejudice to Clause 12, BCL adopts a zero-tolerance approach towards serious misconduct.

Any serious misconduct including but not limited to physical violence, assault, or threatening behaviour; abusive, obscene, or discriminatory language or conduct; harassment (including sexual harassment) of any participant, official, staff member, or spectator; damage to property or facilities; cheating, match-fixing, or any act compromising the integrity of the tournament; intoxication or substance abuse affecting participation or conduct; or any conduct that poses a risk to the safety, reputation, or orderly conduct of the event; shall result in immediate disciplinary action, which may include suspension, disqualification, or permanent ban from BCL events.

Where the misconduct is of a grave nature, including violence, harassment, or integrity-related violations, BCL may immediately terminate participation without prior notice and without refund.

The determination of misconduct and the appropriate disciplinary action shall be made by BCL in its reasonable discretion, based on the nature and severity of the conduct. Such decisions shall be final and binding.

BCL shall not be required to conduct a formal hearing prior to taking action under this clause, provided that the decision is made in good faith.


14. Defamation & Prohibition on Negative public Statements

By registering for or participating in any BCL event, trial, or tournament, you agree that you shall not, directly or indirectly, make, publish, or disseminate any statement whether verbal, written, digital, or through any medium that:

• Is defamatory, libelous, or slanderous toward BCL, its owners, directors, employees, sponsors, partners, officials, umpires, or volunteers

• Brings BCL or its associated brands into disrepute or ridicule

• knowingly or recklessly falsely criticizes the conduct, fairness, integrity, or management of the tournament

• Contains false, misleading, or malicious information about BCL's operations, selection process, or financial dealings

• Encourages others to boycott, disparage, or harm BCL's reputation

In the event of breach of the above obligations, BCL shall be entitled to such action as it deems appropriate, including initiating civil and/or criminal proceedings under applicable laws, including but not limited to defamation; seeking interim or permanent injunctive relief to restrain the making, publication, or dissemination of such statements; claiming damages, including for reputational harm, loss of goodwill, and consequential losses; and suspending or disqualifying the participant from any ongoing or future BCL events, without refund.

Nothing in this clause restricts participants from expressing bona fide opinions or raising genuine concerns in good faith through appropriate channels


15. Use of Equipment

Participants may use their own cricket equipment (including but not limited to bats, pads, gloves, helmets, and shoes), subject to compliance with applicable safety standards and any specifications or directions issued by BCL from time to time.

BCL reserves the right to inspect, restrict, or prohibit the use of any personal equipment that it considers, in its sole discretion, to be unsafe, non-compliant, or otherwise unsuitable for use during trials or matches.

Participants acknowledge and agree that:

• all personal equipment is used at their own risk;

• BCL shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage to such equipment; and

• BCL shall not be liable for any injury arising out of or in connection with the use or failure of personal equipment, except to the extent caused by its gross negligence or wilful misconduct.


16. Tournament Rules

Participants shall strictly comply with all trial rules, directions and protocols issued by BCL from time to time, including but not limited to the following:

• No mobile phones, recording devices, or any other electronic equipment shall be permitted during trials. Any unauthorized possession or use may result in immediate confiscation and disciplinary action;

• Participants shall adhere to a mandatory dress code, including prescribed cricket attire and appropriate footwear (shoes), as may be specified and communicated by BCL prior to or at the venue.

Failure to comply with this Clause or any directions issued by BCL may result in immediate disqualification from the trials and/or removal from the venue, without refund or further notice.


17. Liability

Participation in BCL events involves inherent physical risks. By registering for or participating in any BCL trial, match, or tournament, participants acknowledge and voluntarily assume all such risks, including but not limited to injuries arising from cricketing activities such as running, diving, bowling, batting, or fielding; impact from balls, bats, equipment, or collisions with other participants; muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or other sports-related injuries; and any other risks inherent to participation in competitive cricket.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BCL and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• any personal injury, illness, or death arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct of BCL;

• loss, theft, or damage to personal property;

• any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Participants agree that they are solely responsible for their health, fitness, and safety, and for obtaining any necessary medical advice prior to participation.

Participants further agree to indemnify and hold harmless BCL from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of their participation in the tournament; or their breach of these Terms.

19. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The Courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.


20. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

BCL shall maintain a dedicated grievance redressal mechanism for participants to raise bona fide concerns, complaints, or requests for clarification arising out of or in connection with BCL events, trials, or these Terms.

Participants may submit grievances in writing at:

All grievances shall be reviewed and addressed within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with BCL’s internal policies and operational requirements.

For the avoidance of doubt:

• the submission of a grievance shall not entitle the participant to any automatic relief, remedy, reconsideration, or hearing;

• nothing in this Clause shall be construed as permitting or enabling any challenge to the trial process, selection decisions, or any determinations made by BCL, which shall remain final and binding in accordance with these Terms.

BCL reserves the right to determine the manner, process, and outcome of resolution of any grievance at its sole discretion.

Participants are encouraged to use the designated grievance redressal channel for any complaints or dispute-related matters. Communications sent to general contact channels may be redirected or may not be treated as formal grievances under these Terms.


22.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

To the extent permissible under applicable law, any such invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be interpreted or modified so as to give effect, as nearly as possible, to the original intent of the parties.
